Melbourne Zoo Creatures — 2014
For the Melbourne Zoo's 150th anniversary, Melissa was commissioned to create 15 unique metal creatures. These large-scale sculptures were displayed throughout the zoo, delighting visitors of all ages.
The Dome
A stunning architectural sculpture that serves as both an art piece and a garden structure. The Dome has been featured at garden shows, winning Bronze in 2005 and Silver in 2010 at the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show.
Springvale RSL Memorial Water Feature
A deeply meaningful commission — a memorial water feature for the Springvale RSL. This piece combines sculptural elements with flowing water to create a place of reflection and remembrance.
Garden Ornaments
Melissa's signature garden ornaments include frames, dreamcatchers, standalone butterflies and dragonflies, creatures (ants, spiders, snails), and decorative stakes. All handcrafted from mild steel and stainless steel.
